Safari

macOS High Sierra, Version 10.13.6

iMac (27-inch, Mid 2010)

Processor: 3.2 GHz Intel Core i3

Memory: 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

A couple of days ago, Safari just quit working. The icon is still in the dock, but when I click on it, nothing happens. When I go to the Applications folder and click on Safari, I get the message, "The application “Safari” is not open anymore." I ran the Disk Utility First Aid. I started to upgrade to a newer OS but my mac was purchased in 2010 and cannot handle Mojave.

Hi,

Finder'S Go menu > Go to ... ~/Library/Preferences, then move Safari related plists to trash, then reboot could solve the issue.
