iPod 5G is dead. Error 1418. Any suggestions?

Hi all, my iPod is dead and I would like to to first aid.
My screen is in black and white mode, the battery is full.
The screen shows the apple logo then it says "connect to your computer to restore...". After secons there is the hook "OK to disconnect". Well that isn´t really helping.
The iPod does sometimes appear on iTunes, then I try to restore and after seconds I get error 1418. It also appears on disc utilities, I try to format the ipod but I tried already for many hours, no progress.

I have no more idea what to do and need your support!
