Shutdown the Mac using the Power button, restart and hold Alt/Option. What are the available selections?
Does a SMC Reset correct the issue? Which of the two 2012 Models do you have? See Identify your iMac - Apple Support for reference.
Use BC Assistant, remove the current Windows partition, and run SMC and NVRAM Reset, re-run BCA and try to install Windows.
The LCD was preforming fine before this. The windows logo flashed but then turned to this shortly after. After I hit enter it switched to a black screen, which later proceeded to return to this terrifying image of orange a white. I hear it may be a weak graphics card issue, however my graphics card hasn't been known to be "weak" in anyway.
Are you now able to install Windows?
The LCD screens can be very finicky. There are many known issues with the iMac LCDs. See Apple Launches Replacement Program For 27-Inch iMacs With Graphics Problems as an example.
nothing happened....still the white screen.
okay correction update...for some reason about 10 minutes of nothing after I did what you told me to, i was brought to a screen saying iMac or recover 10.12....
Yes, however is there any way to get windows up or because this whole situation occurred did it fail.
after following your instructions, my screen now has vertical orange and white stripes with a flashing line in the upper right hand corner of the screen. A little terrified at the moment...
Can you post a photograph, if possible? Your LCD screen may be damaged. When was the last time the LCD worked properly?
OH that worked!!! Thank you so much for your time and responses. I appreciate them greatly!
If you select iMac (or macOS), does macOS boot properly?
White screen after boot camp installation
