Apple Pencil wattage?

When recharging the Apple Pencil (gen 1) via a USB cable, does the wattage matter? I have the 12 watt adapter that came with the iPad Pro gen 2 and the 5 watt with the iPhone. Should one be used over the other or does it not matter?

It doesn't matter. The pencil will only take the current it needs.
