iTunes says not enough space

I get this:

User uploaded file

But I have more than 100GB free space,


Please help.

I understand from your post that you are receiving a message that there is not enough space on your iMac to create an iTunes backup. Even though your Mac shows you have 100 GB of free space, please follow through the information below:

If an alert says there's not enough disk space

If a message says there’s not enough disk space when you try to back up your device, free some space on your Mac or PC. If you still see a disk-space error after you free enough space, contact Apple Support.

If your iTunes backup couldn't be completed or you can't restore from a backup
