Can a older iPad 2 have safari browser updated?

Hello, can anybody tell me if it is possible to update safari on my old iPad2 so I can at least use my device for a wall mounted smart home controller? Im trying to run my Home Assistant UI from it. It would be nice to get some use out of this device at least.

Thanks 🙂

Safari on iPad updates with iOS. If your iPad is running iOS 9.3.5 then Safari is as updated as it can be,

As mentioned 3rd party browsers may have more recent updates.

Unless you see some way of doing it through the App Store then I think you are stuck with whatever the Safari version is that comes with the iOS version on the phone, and for the iOS version you are stuck with whichever version Apple provides in its upgrade pathway.

I know with my iPhone4S I have mostly been using third party web browsers which are more up to date.
