restrictions password

Hi, I have put restrictions on my daughters iPhone 6 and I can't remember the password so I can change the restrictions. How to do I change it or recover it?

If you have forgotten the restrictions password, the only way out is to erase the iPhone and set it up as new.

Do not attempt to recover a backup as that will re-instate the restrictions.
