My live listen feature won t turn on.

I was having the same problem. Live-Listen won't turn on.

I had noticed that the Podcast player was buggy on my iPhoneX. Sometimes it takes over my lock screen even when the app is not running. Sure enough, Podcast player was running in the background. I killed all apps. Still no live-listen.

Power Cycle (for X: mash vol-down and right-button, then swipe to power down). Power back up.

When the phone booted back up, my Live-Listen On/Off was working as advertised.

My phone was having the same issue, I did a simple reboot and it was working fine after that.

Dude, read the question FULLY before giving some stupid response that you think makes you look smart. I'm having the same issue. What am I missing?

Same here. AirPods are connected - charged - and can perform all other functions (listen to music, activate Siri, make calls, etc.).

But it when I tap Live Listen it remains off.

I have the same problem with live listen not turning on. Everything else checks out. I have rebooted once and it worked but next day it would not turn on again. Any ideas?

Also I have a lot of trouble getting my iPhone 7 to reboot.

When i go in my control centre & tap on live listen it doesn’t switch on

What you have not told us, that the article you attached above indicates is important:

"If ... LiveListen won't turn on, make sure ... that your AirPods are charged."

He did - he said he can listen to music so he must be changed up.

Im having same issue. iPhone 8, 12.1
