I have no bank account. Can I buy stuff with a gift card?

Hi. I have no bank account. Can I pay with a Gift Card for most things? What do I need to know about using Apple and buying Apple products and services without a bank account? I SURE HOPE i don't have to use a bank card. I also don't have anywhere to borrow a bank card.

I already know you can buy with a gift card on iTunes. I mean for other things, like apps, and the computer itself.

I put this in the Apple ID section because I figured people would be into new people and there's no place really to put this. There's no "other" which I think should be changed. There should be a section for "other".
