iPhone XR first battery charge

"First battery charge": is it a myth?

I'm about to purchase an iPhone XR and I' m wondering how to charge it for the first time. Do I just put it on charge when it goes down to around 20% and leave it there until it reaches 100%?

iPhone XR, iOS 12.1, 64GB

There is no requirement to try and micro-manage iPhone charging.

You can charge at any time, for any amount of time.

You can use it while charging.

You can leave it attached to the charging circuit after the battery reaches 100%.

Do NOT repeatedly deplete the battery to low levels.
