All HomeKit devices “unavailable”

I have 2 homkit locations (my work and my house), with 4k appleTVs at both locations.


my house location works flawless remote however my work location HomeKit device’s show up as “unavailable“ when I try to access them remotely. However all of those devices are still accessible remotely via their hosts app (Phillips hue, ecobee, August lock, etc). Also I have these same devices hooked up through Amazon Alexa and they are also accessible during the times they say “unavailabile” in HomeKit. Which means this issue is isolated to apple’s homekit.


My Apple TV and devices are all up to date. Not sure of the solution here or if this is a known issue to HomeKit. any help here is appreciated
