can 4k videos from the iTunes store be played on a late 2013 iMac, please

iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013), OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! That is a great question you have about playing 4K videos from iTunes on your iMac (Late 2013) and I’m happy to help! As you can see on this article to Use 4K displays, 5K displays, and Ultra HD TVs with your Mac, 4K videos are not supported on your iMac externally or using the internal display.

Hi CarlosP1228,

Thank you for your response to my question, looks as though it may be time to update my iMac!!

However, with your response I have learnt that I can use my MacBook air, which is a 2015 model.
