Previous conversations say to uncheck a blue checkmark next to the Themes music playing. I see a white checkmark, and it won't allow me to uncheck. MacAir Mojave 10.14.1 . Hoping someone can help.

Hello SGKoeh,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! I understand that you would like to know how to turn off music for a slideshow in the Photos app on your MacBook Air. I would be happy to help.

In the Photos app on your Mac, select your slideshow, then select the Music button to the right of your slideshow (below the Themes button). When you hover your cursor over the name of a song listed in the 'Selected Music' box, an 'X' will appear towards the lower-right of the song title. Click on this icon in order to delete the song from your slideshow.

Take care!
