Insert AirPods in the opposite ear for a much better seal and sound

Here's a really cool tricky I found to greatly! improve the sound of your AirPods for my ears. This tip is great if you find that your are not getting a lot of volume or bass response out of your AirPods and the tend to fall out of your ears. Try inserting them in the opposite ear. In my case I was not getting a very good seal when they were in the correct ears (probably because the opening to my ear canal is slightly larger than average). By reversing them I get a very good seal. The volume and bass response are hugely improved for me by doing this. You will probably find that the higher frequencies are reduced a bit, but you can easily choose a different EQ curve in music playback setting to compensate. In addition, now that they have a good seal for my ears, I can shake my head and run and jump and they never come out. That was always one of my biggest issues when biking or running. Obviously, this tip will not be useful for people that are already getting a good seal.

Hope this helps,

Mike

I found the same thing. Kind of crazy. Is there a way to reverse the R/L function somehow? I definitely notice minor differences from R to L and Vice versa but I can get over it
