IPAD2 Question iOS 9.3.5

Hello All,

I am new to the world of Apple and am hoping you all can help me.

I am an adult college student and a friend gave me their old Ipad2.

I was hoping that I could use it to take notes in my classes and upload them to Google Drive or One Note.

Seeing that I cannot run the newer operating systems, I can't even get those programs for my Ipad.

1) Does anyone know if there is a work around for me to be able to get programs like Microsoft Word, One Note, Chrome or Google Drive?

2) Does anyone know of any programs that I could actually get with my current iOS that would be good for taking notes and sending them to myself in a cloud storage system?

3) Does anyone know ANY apps I can download for this thing?? I can't even get Netflix or Spotify......

1, No. The hardware is incapable of running anything newer.

2, and 3, Try How to download old versions of apps from the App Store on an older iPhone or iPad that can't run iOS 11

You can still get older app versions of Google Drive and Google Photos, too, using my original link and procedures that I first posted.

If you need other types of apps, let me/us know.

Popular Web browsers have seriously dwindled for iOS 9 and the popular, or more well known Web browsers are no longer available for iOS 9, any longer.

You CAN choose from what is left for compatible Web browsers from my list in my link which I will duplicate here.

Here’s what’s left.

iCab Mobile Web browser

Dolphin Web browser

Dolphin Incognito Web browser

Snow Bunny Web browser

Private Browsing Web browser

Maxthon Web browser

ICab and Dolphin Web browsers are the best of what is left for current, up to date, third party Web browsers.

If you need older versions of apps that have moved on to iOS 10 and later, tap on my link below and choose the method that will best work with your current situation.

CAREFULLY read and follow ALL directions.

Many of the video apps and audio apps still have older versions available in the iOS App Store.

These apps are just not as easily accessible from the iOS App Store, any longer.

Also, for compatible iOS 9 Notes app, here a few I use.
