My 2009 macbook pro is not recognizing my usb camera.

If you take the memory card out of the camera and put it into the card reader in your Mac can you see it?

Is the camera properly charged and in the correct mode for a computer connection?
I have a endoscope usb camer
It may need specific settings - have you checked the manual for the camera?
