e-code?

Hello,

I’m currently in preproduction for a big DVD project and was asked by my client if I could make a DVD with ‘e-code’.
Does anyone know what this ‘e-code’ is and if I can do this with DVDSP?
I could not find any reference to ‘e-code’ in the manual.
