Audio on beats solo 3 only in mono

Hi,

WHen I use beats solo 3 via my macbook, I only hear mono sound. I read a previous related post, with answers, but non of them provided the answer. What I did found what this, in the audio midi setup, selecting solo 3 bluetooth device, audio, I only see 1 out (see screenshot below). In the format, I clicked the option box and saw 32-bit float (see second picture). But when I select it, nothing happens and format stays on 1 ch 16-bit Integer 16,0 khz.

I also checked the setting in Sound / Output, but everything looks good, though I have no additional settings to change. Also in Accessibility, Audio, the option Play Sound as Mono is not turned on.

When I connect it to my iphone, I hear stereo sound. I also removed/re-added the beats solo 3 bluetooth device, but that did not help either.

Does anyone have a solution for this mono sound issue?

Try clicking on the Apple Icon in the top left corner and selecting ‘System Preferences’. From there select the ‘Sound’ menu. With your Beats connected, select them and adjust the ‘Balance’ setting. Doing so should result in stereo audio being heard in your headphones. Hope this helps!
