fruity loops with intel mac

I looked up Fruity Loops, looks like their demo is only for Windows. But if it has a Mac OS X native version, it should simply work in Rosetta simply by double clicking it from the Applications folder. Sometimes you need to Get Info the application using the File menu, and check the checkbox "Open Using Rosetta." If neither works, then perhaps this is software to run in Parallels or Boot Camp?

It is Windows software that needs either Windows in Bootcamp or something like Parallels to run on a Mac.

Regardless of the method you run Windows, you'll still have issues with their viruses. Try to find an alternative Mac native software that does the same job. See the software search engines linked to my website*:

Any software which is Universal, is also native to the new Intel Macs.

At initial glance it seems that Fruity Loops has some of the features that all these titles share.

I've been an FL Studio user for years now, and LOVE it. Because of that app, I ended up buying a PC laptop, but once I got my iMac, I sold the laptop, and installed XP Pro using Bootcamp, and am not running FL Studio on my own Mac! It's a PC-only application, and there is no promise of a mac version. Actually, the developers have said numerously that there will NEVER be a mac version. But, with the option of installing windows on our intel macs, who cares? You can still enjoy that awesome audio application on your mac. Your other option would be to run it in a virtual environment like Parellels, which I don't recommend, since you won't get optimum audio performance.
