Ipod IN-EAR Headphones, worst product ever made?

I bought a set of the in-ear headphones the other day from argos. i love other in-ear headphones as they never fall out. But the iPod ones don't actually fit in anyones ears (Have gotten all my friends to try and they don't seem to fit anyone). the worst part is that you cant return them due to hygiene reasons but now i have a product that i spent £25 on that i cannot use. and of course i can't use my iPod now as i cant handle the headphones. Even if i lay on my bed with them i actually have to hold them in (never mind walking or anything else with them). So the question, What can i do, i feel that i have been cheated out of that money with an incredibly inferior product. who do i contact to get this sorted out.

I had the same problem; I solved it temporarily, at least, by purchasing ear bud covers; the ones I got are made to fit over the earpiece. they work pretty well while in your ear but the bud covers do not fit very tightly and they tend to fall off the earpieces when not in use. that is pretty annoying. the earbud covers normally come in a set of three pairs in one package - small, medium and large; I don't understand this as I don't expect my ears to change sizes! good luck...

The product is not incredibly inferior, you just bought the wrong size. If you went into the store, bought a shirt, and then went home and found out it didn't fit, you would be disapointed as well. Please don't blame any company for your mistake in buying the wrong size.

Anyways, about your problem with the size. Don't bother with in ear headphones if they don't fit. It seems like common sense. Get a set that goes around the back of your neck, or "street style" headphones. They deliver superior sound better than any earbuds, and stay on relatively well.

Yeah, I was going to ask, is there any other size? Didn't think they came in sizes. you know, you don't HAVE to jsut settle with what you have. That fact that you have one set of headphones that don't fit you prevents you from using your iPod? Go get a different set? ones that cover your ears probably?

Yes, there are more than one size of headphones. They might not have the size that you need in the model that you want, but there are headphones in all shapes and sizes. If one doesn't fit, you'll be able to find another pair.

But they are referring to the iPod earbuds. As far as those go, to my knowledge anyway, there's only one size.

I think he is referring to the IN EAR headphones, which come with 3 different earcaps in 3 different sizes for the most common size of ears. If one of those don't fit then the size of the ears in question must be incredibly large, or tiny.

Once the caps actually go inside your ear they cannot be returned. It's a one off, a rare instance where one of the 3 earcap sizes do not fit. It's tough, but it happens.

We don't actually know what type of headphones he bought for sure. Argos is an online superstore in Great Britain. He could have bought any pair.

In response to the original poster. Do you know that the In-Ear headphones come with 3 interchangable cap sizes? It doesn't sound like you've tried the other sized caps.

i am sorry but you get 3 sizes and they all dont fit, i would be happy if apple just sent me a new set of the normal ones. i take it that you have not tried them if you have anything positive to say about them...

it comes with 3 sizes. in england they only sell one product that has 3 sizes in it. they all fit terribly. i did not buy the wrong size at all... ( i bought the only size)
