DRIVER: Scanner Canon N650U

Hello, everybody.

I did not find a forum dealing with drivers and / or scanners, therefore I would like to ask my question here:

is there any possibility to scan with a Canon N650U with 10.4.8 on an Intel based MacBook? Could not find any drivers at the vendor's homepage. Are there any workarounds?

Thank you for your help, guys,

Attila.

Click on 'Add Install Location' and then browse to where you want to copy the files to (such as Applications). The Install button will become available so select it.

Without the actual scanner I cannot test this any further so hopefully once you have restarted (as it suggests) then the option will be present in an image application.

Correction! I think you need to choose the application that you will use for scanning as the installer creates a plug-in file in the chosen location. Again, without a scanner or Photoshop on this Mac (I'm at home on the Mini) I cannot check this but fingers crossed this is all that is required.
