Does Apple have a Consumer advocate?

I have had several mac computers, and still run 4, office, home etc etc

For two years I have been trying to register one iMac computer and its warranty, and have never been able to. I do not think a week or two has gone by with out me contacting either APPLE or the Store (London Drugs in Canada) on trying to get this thing registered..

I have faxed the receipts in several time to apple, as has the store I purchased it from, they have contacted their sales rep to try to have him fix that I have been told several times when I called into 1-800-sos-apple that the problem will be resolved, and that it takes 7-10 days to go through the system, every support person I talked with understood the problem and they were all very pleasant (except for one, who told me if I do not like how apple handles problems i should purchase windows machine, I already own several, and that apple has a lot of customers and one person does not matter to them)

Is there ANYONE at apple that fixes these problems?? ANYONE.

I am just so frustrated that I can not take this any more...

17in 1.67 G4 PB, 1.8 G5, 500 G3 Ibook, and several others I have rescued from used PC Stores, Mac OS X (10.4.4)

Stan Jensen-

Calling AppleCare generally results in a dead-end with these type of issues.

Try the Customer Relations (1-800-767-2775} number and see if they can help. Be firm yet polite.

I am quite surprised that the store where you purchased this machine has not solved this problem and is trying to absolve responsibility by pointing at Apple. Do they not stand behind their own reputation?

Apple employees do not use these discussion boards. We are just a bunch of users trying our best to help out.

Luck-
