Question

code 54

Hi,

iCal is not updating. It says "Error while updating. Request encountered an unexpected network error (code 54)." Its been on all day. Any one know what exactly this means? Could this be a deliberate block? Thanks.

G5, Mac OS X (10.4.8)

I didn't find a code 54, but a -54. See link http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=9805

Thanks, but that did not look right. I suspect there is either something going on with our network or IT has stepped up security if no one else has run into this.

The error message is gone today, it must have been a network problem.
