Spilt drink on PB
Hi,
I have just knocked a cup of coffee over the left side of my Powerbook. I turned it off straight away, have removed the battery. I also used a hairdryer on a very low, cool setting to try to dry it.
It turns on at the button, but makes a noise like the fan is going very fast. No picture on the screen - just blackness (although at first there were green lines at the bottom).
Help! please. Is there anyway I can get my stuff of the HD? I've seen some other websites that say to remove teh keyboard and hard drive. It says to remove the keyboard, use the screw next to the num lock button - there is no screw there though??? How do i remove the HD?
Please help asap! Thank you.
