HELP! iTunes won't let me put music on my iPod

I need help, whenever i try to transfer my music on to my iPod, for itunes, it won't let me put it on my iPod.

I NEED HELP!!!!!

What is exactly happening when you connect your iPod to your computer?

Is your iPod not recognized, or does iTunes appear to have completed a sync, but nothing loaded onto your iPod?

Or, are you getting any error messages? If so, please quote what they exactly say, and what it happens.

Okay, I see.

That's most likely because you are automatically syncing your iPod.

If you click on your iPod in the Source List of iTunes, and go to the "Music" tab, you are probably selected for "Sync", and either selected playlists, or all songs.

On the Syncing optoin, you cannot drag files to your iPod without setting up your iPod for manually managing, perhaps just temporarily.
