Contacts Keep Disappearing

I restore my Address Book Backup and 10 seconds later, all the contact disappear.

The little SYNC symbol in the Address Book application next to the All folder, spins and then all the contacts disappear and it stops.

What is going on?

This is messed up.

Do I have a virus?

I have the same problem, All of my contacts disappear when I try to add or edit something. At first I thought it was some problem with .mac sync, becasue I would get an error when I tried to restore them from sync. I disabled sync for contacts but still they disappear when I use the Address Book. I may try disabling sync altogether and see what happens.

I have a backup that I have to keep restoring "revert to backup" but it's gettting annoying.

Let me know if you find a fix. I'll do the same if I find one.
