imovie censor tricks

could anyone help? I want to place a blacked out "censored" bar in part of my film, that is approx 300 seconds long (the clip). If anyone knows a fun way of doing this: v thankfull. Q

you want a second layer in iM .. which isn't supported.
www.geethree.com offers in Slick4 a pic-in-pic effect, same with
www.imovieplugsins.com

both apps allow to import any grafic (in your case: a black bar..) and place it somewhere in your video ...

in a grafic processor, you could add the word 'censored!' to it .. to make it more dramatic ...

Slick 5 has a more funny one: 'pop-up-text' is a title in looks of a toons-bubble.. adding a 'ooops!', 'not for Grandma's eyes!' or similiar makes censorship more.. funny.. 😉
