USB 2.0 Upgrade

Is it possible to upgrade my 1.1 USB ports to 2.0? How expensive and how complicated a process would it be if it is even possible.

You can't add USB 2.0 ports to any iMac which didn't originally include them, as the USB ports are part of the logic board and your iMac has no expansion slots. Depending on what you want to do, a FireWire device may exist for that purpose.

Thanks Niel. When I did todays iTunes upgrade, I got a pop-up saying "Use a 2.0 USB port for better results". I've got a 7 port USB hub running a Card Reader, Scanner,and three iPods. Its a 2.0 hub and I thought my iMac had 2.0 USB ports.No wonder my RAW file downloads are so slow! Any suggestions?
