Sorry if I've placed this is the wrong section
But I downloaded Mozilla's Thunderbird Mail app last night
and tried to set it up.
I've put all the POP and SMTP settings in and it retrieves all my mail fine, but says the SMTP settings are wrong when it comes to sending.
What should I do? Go to yahoo with my problem?
or can anyone help?

No matter where you post this question whoever tries to answer it is going to need more information:

1) who is your internet service provider?

2) who provides your mail sending service (ie the SMTP)?

3) do you have more than one mail account and identity set up in Thunderbird?

4) what is the exact error message you get when SMTP doesn't work?
