if i buy another ipod to replace the one i have now,

senuti to move contents of the old iPod to iTunes, and then load onto new iPod.

ok and my next question is, which might be kind of
stupid, but when the songs go back onto my computer
are they compressed at all. im not sure exactly how
im trying to word this. but i have many songs on my
ipod. im just worried.

They'll be EXACT copies of your iPod songs.
