transfer songs from one ipod to another ipod

if i buy another ipod to replace the one i have now, will i be able to transfer the songs that are currently on my ipod to the new one? keep in mind that i do not keep songs stored on my computer in my library.

ive been researching this, but i have yet to come to a clear conclusion ...

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.8)

DIRECTLY iPod to iPod? No.

keep in mind
that i do not keep songs stored on my computer in my
library.

Simple method is to use a thrid-part application such as
senuti to move contents of the old iPod to iTunes, and then load onto new iPod.
