False Time zone adjustments: how to reset?
having thoroughly misunderstood the way Aperture's "adjust time zone" works at first (I think I finally got it now), I've set about 2400 photos with completely wrong time zone informations, resulting on very odd Image dates being given, and some photos even having changed their dates.
Is there a way to reset these informations to match those of the master image files, i.e. undo all of my various changes and steps?
I've read about using the "Lift Tool" for this purpose here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=2995324.
However, I'm apparently simply far too stupid to understand this. What am I supposed to check/uncheck before I "stamp" pictures? How do I "revert to original date" while the stamp tool is still active?
Or is there some other way of coaxing Aperture into forgetting about the Time zone changes I did, and go back to the informations in the master file?
TIA for any insights into this puzzling problem from a dummy.
