Installation error 2802?

I needed quicktime to view a video over the internet.
After downloading it, at the end of the installation there was an error code 2802 during the validation process at the end. It then continued to install... but when I rebooted the computer, the quicktime wouldn't run. I then removed the program receiving another error code 2803?!!

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

I turned off the symantec firewall/antivirus but to no avail I get the same error... Please help.
