converting 44100-24 bit files to 48000 hz-24 bits
i have to convert logic files from 44100 (24 bit) to 48000 hz for a movie,
what would be the best : to convert all the audio tracks in the logic file to 48khz or to bounce the final mix to 48khz 24 bit
i noticed also that in the audio window when i convert a file (with the sample rate converter) from 44.1 in 24 bit to 48 the file i get is in 16 bit. Why the file doesnt stay at 24 bit ?
and is the conversion better in pro tools ?
if no what is the top class sample rate software
