Connecting a Newton Messagepad 2000

I'm hoping to get some info from all you Newton lovers out there...Is there any way to connect a Newton Messagepad 2000 to a Macbook Pro Core Duo? If the answer is yes, what will I need to make this happen? Many thanks guys!

It appears to support AppleTalk/LocalTalk. With a converter such as the Faralon EtherMac iPrint LT it should be possible to connect it to any Mac running 7.5.3 or later using AppleTalk-over-Ethernet.

You should be able to connect using a keyspan usb to serial converter. you should also down load Newtsync and Newten programs. I currently connect my newton 2100 to my Powerbook G4 with 10.4. this is how I down load new programs to my newton.
