Can Anyone Get Boston Traffic Font To Work In FCP?

A designer created some nice lower thirds for me using a font called Boston Traffic:

My Finder tells me it's a Window's TrueType Font. I'm able to get it to work in After Effects but FCP doesn't show it in the text generator. Any help would be much obliged. Thanks!

Dual Quad G5, Mac OS X (10.4.6)

check fontbook, see if it's enabled.

How did you install the font?

Does it show up in other programs beyond AE - Word, InDesign, Quark, Photoshop, Illustrator etc?

It says PC/MAC OSX.

Download the font. Unstuff it. Double click on the boston.ttf file and a window will open up...you will see a button called INSTALL.

Restart.

Checked it out out of curiosity. Doesn't show up in FCP for me. Shows up in the font list in AE but can't be applied to any text.

How odd. I too tested it in AE and can't get it to work. I change the font to Bookman, there it is. Back to Boston Traffic...gone.

It shows up in the font list and on the page in MS Word.

It shows up in the font list for Photoshop but does not display on the screen.

how odd.

Downloaded the font and it shows up in LiveType. Didn't try anyplace else though.
