Question

Software for Canon PowerShot S400

Hello,
I went to the Canon site to find a download to get my digital camera and MacBook to get connected. I am having a hard time figuring out which one to download. The ones that I download seem to not work. Please help! Thanks.

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.4.9)

Welcome to the Apple Discussions.

You don't need extra software for the S400. However, the Canon cameras will not show up on the desktop, so you need to use Image Capture (in your Applications Folder) to get pics from the camera to the HD. AN alternative is to use a USB card reader.
