Incorrect Capitalization in Album Name and Album By Artist Problems

Hi. I have a few problems.

1) I listen to a lot of Italian music, and I noticed that one of the albums I listened to has a different capitalization in both Cover Flow and the Album view. I changed the album property of each song, but the capitalization problem persists. How do I fix it?

2) Songs in which the artist property has more than the album artist appears in a different section of both Cover Flow and the Album view - giving you more than one copy of the album. How do I fix it?

I really don't like this fact that I don't yet have an answer, and my post is 3 pages away. I really think that I am among the unlucky ones about these situations. Posts come too fast, so I think we need to split the board: Tech Support, General Inquiries, etc. This lets us answer each other's questions faster.

I have had a similar situation. Even after editing all of the tag information on the album files, there are still instances where the capitalization doesn't match up when viewing the library in Cover Flow mode.

I did discover a fix, though. After importing the files into iTunes and changing all the tag info to the way you like it, delete the files from the Music Library. (Of course, choose " Keep Files" when prompted by iTunes.) Then, simply add them again to your Music Library from your iTunes Music folder.

The files will retain the tag info that you entered and appear correctly in Cover Flow.

If you add a character to one field (e.g., make "The Beatles" "The Beatlesx"), then change it back, the new capitalization will register. Simply changing the capitalization sometimes isn't enough to make the change propagate to Cover Flow, for some reason.
