How to use a Dell Printer (with USB)

I have a dell all-in-one printer 964 that I would like to use (via USB) with my Macbook Pro. When I try to use it, it's looking for a driver and forcing me to choose one. Dell is not in the list. I can download the driver from dell, but it's an .exe file.
What can I do to get these 2 to work together? Anything?
Thanks in advance.

I have a Dell All in one Printer 966 and I have Windows Running on my MacBook Pro. I installed the necessary drivers but am unable to connect to the printer via USB and on the Printer "Print" is grayed out. Do the USBs and the CD drive on a MAC not work on certain programs and/or hardware? When I run the installer I can not get past the connect via USB. The next is grayed out. How do I bypass this?

I may be able to offer a small glimmer of hope.

The dirty little secret about Dell's printers is they're all actually Lexmarks in different cases. You might, then, be able to get a Lexmark driver to recognize your Dell as one of its own. Unfortunately, the Lexmark that the 964 is apparently derived from, the x8350, does not offer Mac drivers.

However, you may be able to use one of the two following drivers:
For the Lexmark X9350
http://www.downloaddelivery.com/srfilecache/9300%20Series%20Web%20Installer.dmg

For the Lexmark X5450
http://www.downloaddelivery.com/srfilecache/5400%20Series%20Web%20Installer.dmg

No guarantees, but those drivers may help.

All else fails? I'm a fan of HP's printers.

I still can't get the darn thing to work. I figured out that for some reason, when windows is running on my system, it does not recognize the USB drive and I tried several Flashdrives, however my wireless mouse does work. I don't understand. I tried all kinds of updates but nothing seems to work. Dell even sent me a brand new printer to replace and still nothing. Isn't it supposed to work on Windows or can it still tell that my computer is a MAC?
