Hardware Error, Sense Code = 0x03
Lately every DVD burn I've tried has failed as follows:
The drive reported an error:
Sense Key = HARDWARE ERROR
Sense Code - 0x03
Anyone seen this? Does this mean the internal drive is defective? I use my computer daily and I'd hate to have it disappear in the bowls of Apple for weeks. What's Apple's attitude toward you doing your own service with Apple supplied parts? I have the extended warranty on this computer so the drive should be covered.
