Is there a new voice yet?

I've been wondering whethr or not there have been improvements on text speech voices. If there are any improvements to make the computer sound more human-like, where can i obtain this new voice?

Just curious. Thanks.

That's one of the announced features of OS 10.5 Leopard.

Victoria's been improved to Vicki (release note: http://developer.apple.com/releasenotes/Carbon/Speech.html). I can definitely hear a difference in articulation--much more crisp and clear.

I use Vicki, actually, to keep my email organized ( http://www.macgeekery.com/tips/configuration/organizingmail_app_one_step_at_atime).
