Server Error in '/' Application

When logging into Myspace, I now receive the Server Runtime Error noted in the title. This just recently started after upgrading to the most recent version of Safari.

It only occurs when accessing Myspace login screen. I have Safari v2.0.4. I installed the most recent version of Firefox and receive the same error.

If I use a pre-tiger version of Safari on a different Mac - it works fine. The full error response is below. Any help appreciated...

Server Error in '/' Application.
Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->
<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>
Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.
<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->
<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

hey kevin
just wondering if you have tried anything to help resolve the error that you are getting with myspace cause from your post it sounds like something that is on the myspace server end of the interface with safari and something that maybe should be brought to the myspace IT departments attention

some simple things to try would be

1. reset safari from the safari menu
2. empty caches
3. you could also run a disk utility verifiy disk to see if there are any errors with in your OS

let me know if any of this works for you 🙂
