Full screen shortcut

I guess it depends on the app. System Preferences->Keyboard & Mouse->Keyboard shortcuts is where you'd do that. E.g., Finder->Window->Zoom can be set, but it might not do what you want. More details on what app you're trying to do this in.

I think if there was one it would show at Zoom in the Window Menu just like it shows apple m to minimize.

IIRC there was another thread on this w the conclusion "NO."

Have a look at Megazoomer.
Note that SIMBL is needed too so installation isn't quite the usual 'drag & drop'.

As I mostly use my 12" iBook I find it very useful to be able to instantly maximise browser windows.
