Smooth lines in chart?

Two questions

1.
Can i make smooth lines in my chart, instead of straight lines between points.

2.
I made a chart with Temperature horizontel (y-axis) and Time vertical (x-axis).
I have about 40 measurements. Hwo do I show only 10, on my chart, without deleting 30 points on my serie.

Hope for answers

1.
I hope the next version of Keynote, comes with interpolation/curve smoothing.
Meanwhile I might have found a temporary solution.
I draw a smooth curve (with the "shape" feature in keynote) and place it on top of the original curve in my chart. Now I just need to hide the original curve, without deleting it (if I should need it again).

Is the last part possible?

2.
I will try to elaborate on this question, although my English is a bit rusty :-D
On the vertical axis, you can change the minimum, maximum and step.
I would like to do the same on the horizontal axis. When I plot in my data in the Chart Data Editor, ALL the values appears on the vertical axis. I would like to chose these values myself.
In this case I have a temperature reading for every halve minute. But on my x-axis (Time) I want an interval of 2 minutes.

Hope this made the question more clear 😉

Kindly regards

Vindbjerg, your English seems fine to me (it's much better than my non-existent Danish!).

As for your first question, you can make the original curve disappear by using the opacity slider in the Graphics Inspector. Click on the graph to select it, and then slide the opacity all the way left, so that the lines vanish.

(Interestingly, in a multi-line graph, the opacity control affects all lines, which seems odd to me, since the other Graphic Inspector controls only affect the selected line.)

Regarding the second issue, unfortunately Keynote treats values on the X-axis as categories, and not as continuous values. So it isn't possible to change how many "steps" the axis uses. However, you can hide the X-axis labels, and put the steps you want in by hand -- inelegant, but a solution.
