The 5 R's - Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall, Restore ARENT WORKING! Help?

iTunes says my iPod is corrupted.
I think my iPod is frozen. The screen wont turn on for anything. What do I do?

iPod nano [1st generation], Windows 2000

well, if you have an apple store near you, you can take it there and go on one of thier computers and get a reservation for the genius bar and they can see what the problem is and 10 to 1 they will give you a new one and all you have to do is sign a form statin that you are releasing your ipod and replacing it!

i had the same problem and so you probably have a defect and that is a 5 to 1 chance!
