How to add a language

Hi,
I have to make a title in Bulgarian
All the foreign languages are loaded in my system
In the prefs, I have selected Bulgraian (in bulgarian ;)) and choosen bulgarian keyboard
But in LiveType, the letters I type are replaced by a rectangle.

After quitting the app, I have made a Cde+I on the LiveType app icon and popped down the languages menu. As there is no bulgarian displayed, I clicked the Add button and got a dialog box. From there I don't know where to get this language.
Does anybody know?

That indicates that the font you have chosen does not contain Cyrillic. Try Lucida Grande.

I am afraid I do have Cyrillic as you can see wether I type something like this : уищфйю члпдЮЙЭ

and I use Lucida Grande

Do you get squares when you type with the Bulgarian flag shown in the flag menu at the top right of the Finder and you have made sure that Lucida Grande is the active font in LiveType? If so, you might selecting a font with CY at the end of the name.

Also, the Languages tab in Get Info is not relevant. It determines the language of the menus and dialogues for the application, but does not affect input or display possibilities. The latter are determined by the active keyboard layout and font.

I have the Bugarian Flag on the top right of the finder and Lucida Grande active.
Even with a CY font, I cannot get the live font effect.

gives an answer. It explains it is impossible to use characters other than those shown in that page.

I have solved my problem making a similar effetct (almost) in motion.
