album artwork not showing in playlist

What do you mean it doesn't show up in the
playlists?
Do you mean when you select Music -> Playlist and
press play, the artwork does not show?
But when you select Music -> Songs and press Play,
the artwork shows up?

Yes, if I play some songs from the playlists for my Nano, the artwork does not show(the box is empty)but if I play the song directly from the library(or the playlist for the library)the artwork is there.

However, the artwork is on my Nano.

I'm sorry but I'm still not sure where you have this
problem.
Is this on the iPod or in iTunes?

You created a playlist for your entire library?

Sorry for the delay- I hadn't checked this thread in awhile. The problem is when I have my Nano plugged into my computer. iTunes is open. I select a playlist listed under my Nano, and some of the artwork is missing from the songs in the playlist. I have several playlists on my Nano, and the problem exists in all playlists. Does that make sense? Sorry if I am not explaining it right...

okay, I think I will try again(I don't mean to confuse anybody)

When my Nano is connected to my computer,(and I am looking at my Nano library) some of the artwork is missing. However, in my main library, the artwork is there and the artwork is on the Nano itself(I checked after disconnecting). I was able to add the artwork in, so it is there now, but I was wondering why the artwork didn't show up on some songs.

I will also say that this does not affect purchased music.

Hopefully this is a bit clearer.
