Updated Nano slow sync

Updated Nano slow sync

I reset my Nano and updated to 1.1.2. Songs take much longer to sync.

Converting to 128-bit AAC may be the problem ( http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=718152&tstart=0)

I cannot find this option on my iTunes/Nano; can anyone help?

There is no conversion setting on the iPod, this is done in iTunes under preferences/advanced/importing (to change the setting) and then highlighting a song (or songs) and selecting advanced/convert selection.

I found one solution:

I changed settings to 'Manually manage music'. Downloads run at expected speed.
