Quicktime Video in Powerpoint?

I created a great keynote that encorporated a quicktime video (which was made in imovie) When I exported to powerpoint for someone else, they could not play the video, even though they have quicktime (but they have a PC, not a mac). Their error message said they needed an H.264 decompressor to play the video. How can I fix this (or more accurately, what do I tell him to fix this)? Any suggestions?

PowerBook G4, Mac OS X (10.4.9)

regardless of the codec, PPT for windows sometimes just won't play QT movies. That said, h.264 ONLY works in QT 7 or higher. Does the PC user have QT 7 or something older?

That's what I thought. My guess is he has an earlier version. Is there anything I can do so that he can see it? What if I export the Keynote and burn it to a dvd for him to play, does that circumvent the problem?

you can either use something else to encode your video (AVI might end up being the best choice, even though it'll give you a larger file) or export to QT and make a real movie DVD with iDVD or Toast (don't simply export a QT movie and stick it on a data DVD, you'll have the same problem you do now).
