"Stereo-Mix" Audio Input?

Is there a way to have some sort of stereo mix audio input. Like an input that plays back all the sound being played on my computer? There was an option like this on my PC and I'm wondering if theres a way to achieve a similar thing on a mac.

Macbook Pro 15", Mac OS X (10.4.9)
