how do I change album name on iPod?

I'm new at this. I've imported a CD onto my iPod Nano, only to realize that the CD has no name. Therefore, I can't find it under "Albums" on the iPod, though I can find all its songs under "Songs." I want it to exist also as an "Album" on the iPod. So I go into iTunes, change the Album name in iTunes (by selecting the CD and choosing Get Info from the File menu), and then reconnect my iPod. iTunes tells me "Sync is complete." I look on my iPod: still, the CD does not have an album name!!

Hi gadget_phobe!

Okay, are you syncing a specific playlist(s) to your iPod?

If so, you'll have to update those playlist(s), by deleting that album off of it, then adding the album to the playlist again (dragging the album's songs from the iTunes Library to the playlist).

Or, you could just set your iPod to manually manage it with iTunes (click on your iPod's name in the Source List of iTunes, and under the "Summary" tab, select the "Manually manage songs" option. Then, click the "Apply" button in the bottom-right corner of your iTunes screen).

When you've done that, now click on the "Music" subsection of your iPod in the iTunes Source List (if you don't see this, click on the little arrow that's to the left of your iPod's name to show/hide the details).

Hare, in the iPod's Music library, find the album, select it, and delete it off the iPod.

Then, go to your iTunes Library, select the album from there, and drag-and-drop the songs to your iPod.

Now, you should have the updated album information on your iPod.
